Arriving to Aarhus prior the event for a Training Stay ?
We look forward to welcoming you to Aarhus !
There is two venues for you to take into consideration when planing your training stays in Aarhus – depending on the time you are planing your stay. Both venues has the same distance (appox 2 nm) to the planned race areas:
- Aarhus International Sailing Center – the venue for the Worlds.
- Egå Marina – with easy acces with cars, campers and trailers – also during the Worlds.
If you are planning a training stay before July 20th, we recommend that you base yourself at Aarhus International Sailing Center – the Venue for the Youth Worlds.
- There is a daily fee of 15 euro pr. Dinghy and pr. coach boat in the period until and including 26th July.
- Contact Søren, sim@aarhussejlsportscenter.dk for booking your ILCA 4-training stay. Payment by card upon arrival.
From July 26th to August 9th, only ILCA 4 is allowed at the venue at Aarhus International Sailing Center.
If you are planning a stay after July 20th, we recommand you to stay at Egå Marina. The local sailing club is the host and and the local club warmly welcomes you into their club house.
- A training stay at Egå Marina includes:
– Access to bath, toilet, changing room facilities.
– Dinghy spot onshore and Coach Boat / Support boat mooring
– Parking for car and trailers
- A training stay at Egå Marina does not include:
– organized training
– coaching
The price is 20 euro pr. day pr. dinghy and 20 euro pr. day pr. coach boat.
For accomodation, you can rent a camping spot including power for tents or camper vans directly at Egå Marina.
